Terms of Service
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Tagbo, the app for keeping track of what is inside your boxes, drawers and storage rooms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy. By using the app you accept them.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Tagbo is offered by:
- Name: Alberto Rivas Ramos, an individual developer based in Spain
- Contact email: support@tagbo.app
These terms cover the Tagbo mobile app for Android and iOS and the website. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app. Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement and are not responsible for the app.
2. The service
Tagbo lets you organise an inventory in spaces, sections and items, find things with search and, if you have NFC stickers, open a section by tapping its tag with your phone. The app only reads the identifier of a tag; it does not write anything to it. NFC is optional, and the app works on devices without it.
Your data is stored on our servers and cached on your device so the app keeps working offline. Changes made offline are synced when you reconnect. Some actions, such as creating a space, sharing it or deleting your account, need a connection.
We may change, add or remove features. We will try to give notice of changes that significantly affect you.
3. Your account
You can use Tagbo straight away with an anonymous account that exists only on your phone. If you uninstall the app without linking your account, you lose access to that data.
To share a space, accept an invitation or subscribe you have to link your account with Google (Android) or Apple (iOS). Linking keeps everything you already have.
You must be at least 14 years old to use Tagbo. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for the security of your Google or Apple account. Tell us if you think someone else has accessed it.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
4. Your content
What you put in Tagbo (names, locations, items and quantities) remains yours. You give us a limited licence to store, copy and display it only as needed to run the service for you and the people you share it with.
You are responsible for your content. Do not add anything illegal, and avoid writing private information that you do not want the other members of a shared space to see.
We do not review your content, and we can remove content or restrict access if we receive a valid report that it breaks the law or these terms.
6. Acceptable use
When you use Tagbo you agree not to:
- break the law or infringe other people's rights, including intellectual property and privacy;
- upload malware, or try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts or our systems;
- bypass the limits of your plan, abuse invitation codes, or try to guess codes or access spaces that are not yours;
- scrape, reverse engineer or copy the app except where the law allows it;
- use the service to harass, deceive or harm others.
If you break these rules we may warn you, restrict your access or close your account.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Tagbo is free to use with limits. Some features, such as sharing a space or creating more than one space, require a paid subscription, monthly or annual. Prices are shown in the store, in your currency, before you buy.
- Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Billing, refunds and taxes are handled by them.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, not in Tagbo.
- Your subscription is tied to your Tagbo account, so it follows you when you sign in on another device. You can restore purchases from the paywall.
- If your subscription ends, nothing you created is deleted. Spaces beyond the free plan become read-only, and your shared spaces stop being shared. Scanning and reading is never blocked.
If you are a consumer in the European Union you may have a legal right to withdraw from a digital purchase. The store explains how this works for your purchase.
8. NFC stickers and your device
NFC stickers are physical products, not part of the app. Tagbo works with NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216 stickers. We do not guarantee that every tag, phone or case will be readable, and we are not responsible for stickers you buy from third parties or for tags that fall off, get damaged or are cloned. A tag's identifier can be read by anyone, so Tagbo never uses it alone to give access to your content.
The app may link to third-party shops or sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or terms.
9. Intellectual property
The app, its design, name, logo and code belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app on your devices under these terms. Apple, App Store, Google and Google Play are trademarks of their owners.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we can use them without owing you anything.
10. Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep Tagbo reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own record of anything critical, such as valuables or items you need for insurance.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law, including any legal guarantee that applies to digital content and services.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of or damage to the items you store, even if you used Tagbo to locate them. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 100 if you did not pay anything.
None of this excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Tagbo at any time and delete your account from Profile. We can suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or if the law requires it. If we stop offering the service we will give you reasonable notice and time to take your data.
When the agreement ends, your right to use the app ends. The sections on intellectual property, liability and governing law continue to apply.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes will be brought before the courts of Talavera de la Reina (Toledo, Spain). If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live or your right to go to your local courts. In the EU you can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will let you know in the app or by another suitable means before it applies. If you keep using Tagbo after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and delete your account.
