Delete my account
You can delete your account and your data whenever you want, from the app or by email. This is what happens.
From the app
Tap “Delete my account”
It only appears if your account is linked with Google or Apple.
Confirm in writing
Type DELETE to confirm and tap “Delete account”. You need a connection and it can't be undone.
If you use Tagbo with an anonymous account, without Google or Apple, there is no account to delete: when you uninstall the app you lose access to your data, and what remains on our servers is not accessible to anyone and is removed in periodic clean-ups. You can also ask us to delete it by email.
What is deleted
- Your profile and your account linked with Google or Apple.
- The spaces you created, with their sections and items, for everyone you share them with. The NFC tags of those sections are freed up.
- Your membership in other people's spaces, without touching their content.
- The Tagbo data stored on your phone.
What is not deleted
- Your subscription: it isn't cancelled automatically. Cancel it in the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play.
- Other people's spaces, even if you could see them, and what is inside them.
- Anonymous usage analytics (Mixpanel, EU): not linked to your account and kept for at most 25 months.
- Backups, until they are overwritten in our provider's regular backup cycle, and the billing records that Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep as the law requires.
No longer have the app?
Write to us from your account's email address with the subject “Delete my account” and we'll delete it for you. We'll answer within one month.
